The heart behind Shortwings Production Studio. Director, CEO, and an artist at heart with a background in 3D animation and VFX. But more than anything, someone who believes in dreams — not just her own, but yours too.
“I started Shortwings with one big goal: to create a space right here in Alberta — especially in Edmonton — where students and creatives like me could soar. I wanted a studio that didn’t just produce films and animation, but nurtured talent, sparked imagination, and gave people the chance to become the artists they’ve always wanted to be.

The engine behind the wings of Shortwings Production Studio. Asad Malik is our Chief of Operations - the go to guy when you have questions, and the one who always has a solution ready.
